Are you a certified tradesperson looking to take your current skilled trades knowledge and experience to a new level? Are you aiming to take on a supervisory or management role, or maybe start your own business?
Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training’s (AIT) Achievement in Business Competencies (Blue Seal) Program is a great way to develop your business skills and obtain industry-recognized certification to support your personal and professional career goals.
SAIT is a recognized training provider for the Blue Seal program — we offer business courses that you can take to meet Blue Seal training-hour requirements. Any course you choose for Blue Seal must reflect topics from AIT’s approved business-related subject areas for business competencies.
Contact AIT Customer Service directly to learn more about applicant eligibility, training requirements, how to determine which of our business courses match AIT business competencies and how to apply to receive the Blue Seal Certificate.
Contact our Con Ed Advising team for course outlines and student transcripts:
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut'ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh'kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
