DRLG 106 - Introduction to Drilling

Course Description

This course provides an introduction to conventional and directional oil and gas well drilling. There will be opportunities to explore topics, such as legal survey systems, equipment and materials used to drill wells, including the main components that make up the drill string assembly.

We'll then explain drilling fluids, well control, casing design and cementing and fishing.
