Course Description

In this course, you'll gain an understanding of how measurement devices are commissioned and the type of maintenance they require — calibration frequency, pressure calibration using a deadweight tester, and temperature calibration using a standard platinum resistance thermometer. To ensure optimal performance measurement devices must be properly commissioned and maintained at regular intervals. With this, you'll learn about the proper configuration of Measurement Devices — pressure and temperature transmitters, liquid meters, Flow Computer calibrations and the advanced diagnostics for custody transfer meters.

We'll cover how to identify a log report to ensure you're collecting the right data, calibration requirements and procedures of Ancillary Devices.

Analyzer Technicians and Systems Engineers, Test & Measurement and Senior Liquid Measurement Supervisors, Measurement Technicians/Technologists, Measurement & Control Technicians, Measurement Analysts and Operators, Instrumentation Technicians,  Automation Team Leaders, Measurement Engineers, Reliability Managers, Measurement and Logistics Technicians, Production Accountants, Hydrocarbon Measurement Specialists and their managers, Petroleum Measurement Technical Leaders, Advanced Gas Measurement Technicians dealing with measurement device commissioning and maintenance will benefit from this course.
