Course Description

Meetings are an organizational fact of life. Knowing how to prepare for, document the content during, and write the minutes after a meeting makes the process a more efficient and productive experience for an administrative professional tasked with these responsibilities.

In our Meetings and Minutes course, we will examine specific tools and techniques to help you plan and run more efficient meetings.

Meeting preparation and execution topics covered include purpose and types of meetings, cost, meeting cycles, participant roles, objectives, notices and agendas, how to take minutes, closing, how to write up minutes and follow up on activities.
