PWEN 003 - Fifth Class Power Engineering
Course Description
This 96-hour online Fifth Class Power Engineering course prepares you to take the Provincial Fifth Class Power Engineering exam or equivalent low-pressure heating plant certificate exam in your province. Note: Registration for this course closes two days before the course start date.

After six months of related operating experience, as outlined in the engineer's regulations, you'll be able to apply for the exam. Contact your provincial Boiler's Branch for the number of months that may be required.
Fifth Class certificates are issued in Alberta, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Saskatchewan. Other provinces may recommend this course as study material for Heating Plant Certificate Examinations other than Fifth Class.
Recommendations
