Course Description

This 100-hour in-person lab is for students who have completed a Fifth Class Power Engineering theory course but do not have six months of work experience necessary to write the Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) Fifth Class exam. Fifth Class power engineers are employed as operators in a power plant or heating plant such as hospitals, hotels, schools, office buildings or apartment buildings.
