PWEN 111 - First Class Power Engineering B4
Course Description
Our 96-hour online First Class Power Engineering course will provide you with the supplemental education you may need to be successful in writing your Government B4 exam, topics covered will include:
- business management
- contract management
- problem solving and decision making
- leadership
- communication and conflict resolution
- labour relations
- recruitment and employee development
- management structures and organization
As PWEN 111 cannot be used as a credit towards work experience or as a credit towards a SAIT certificate, you must complete all eight sections to receive work experience credit and a certificate for your learning:
- A1, A2, A3, A4
- B1, B2, B3, B4
If you are seeking credit in place of work experience, please contact your provincial boiler's branch to ensure our courses are accepted. You will have four months to complete this course, with a final exam at the end.
Note: Registration for this course closes two days before the course start date.
Prerequisites
To register you must be a holder of a valid Provincial Power Engineering Second Class Certificate.
PWEN 116, PWEN 117, PWEN 126, PWEN 127, PWEN 136 and PWEN 137 are the mandatory requirements for this course. You are required to show proof of completion by emailing conedadvising@sait.ca
Recommendations
