This course provides an introduction to the complex and evolving area of stakeholder relations.
Stakeholders and their concerns divvy up into groups before examining the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) regulations on stakeholder relations. Using case studies, you'll demonstrate how the regulations can be applied ending the course with a look at the dispute resolution process.
Learning about the different types of stakeholders and the concerns or conflicting interests they may have, and the mechanisms in place to resolve disputes between stakeholder groups and project proponents, as well as the significance of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
