Course Description

Using heat to forge steel, this weekend workshop is focusing on the joinery techniques used in decorative ironwork.  Join us to incorporate these skills and to learn these basic techniques: riveting, collaring, mortise and tenon.  Open to all levels, this class is for those with blacksmithing experience or those wanting to discover something new.

Section Notes

Due to COVID-19, students who are scheduled to attend an in-person class on any SAIT campus will be expected to show proof of ID – either your SAIT ID card or a government issued picture ID. Students will also need to show proof of enrollment into a course for the time they are on campus.
