Course Description

This course introduces you to concepts of construction project planning, scheduling, and the potential impact on project costs.

 

Key topics include: defining scope of work, resource allocation, developing a critical path, timelines, identifying potential risks and opportunities, creating a work breakdown structure and coding scheme, creating a project schedule and reporting.

 

By the end of this course, you will be able to create a work schedule and estimate project costs.

Prerequisites

 

One of ESTM 100 or CSTN 138 is the mandatory requirement for this course. You are required to show proof of completion by emailing conedadvising@sait.ca.
