Course Description

The purpose of the special boiler operator course is to familiarize yourself with the principles of design, operation, and maintenance of small high-pressure boilers, such as those found in dry cleaning plants, laundries, small breweries and food processing plants.

This training will prepare you to write the Alberta Government Exam for the Special Boiler Operator Certificate, which qualifies the holder to exercise general supervision of a specific power plant (not exceeding 250 kW in capacity) named on the Certificate.
