Course Description

This course describes the reasons for standardization in drawings, and introduces standard instrumentation and piping symbols. Types of drawings are defined, and their applications are discussed. Learn to interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) after becoming familiar with standard symbols and abbreviations.
