Course Description

The goal of this course is to teach effective communication skills for better serving clients when inspecting residences as a home inspector.

This course focuses on the following concepts:
•    Good verbal communication skills
•    Report writing skills
•    Steps in completing a home inspection
•    Professionalism when conducting an inspection

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Clearly explain the home inspection process to clients
  • Serve diverse groups of people
  • Provide well written reports
  • Understand what defines good customer service for a home inspector
  • Evaluate the verbal and reporting skills of a professional home inspector
