As part of our portfolio of non-credit education and training solutions, SAIT Continuing Education and Professional Studies offers professional certificate programs specifically for international students. We deliver six different, one-year professional certificate training programs designed for eligible international adult learners to gain in-demand skills.
Globally informed and locally driven, all our professional certificate training programs are classroom-based and conducted in person at SAIT's main campus in Calgary, Alberta. Our training delivers a valuable Canadian hands-on learning experience designed to help you get job-ready to advance your immediate professional career and employment goals in Canada.

SAIT is a publicly-funded post-secondary institution established in 1916. We design and deliver business and industry-relevant applied education and training to produce competent, qualified and employable graduates.
SAIT is a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Our professional certificate training programs comply with provincial and federal government policies and requirements, as well as SAIT policies. Qualified applicants to our programs obtain study permits, are able to work part-time while studying, and upon successful program completion, may be eligible to apply for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP).

All courses and programs offered by SAIT Continuing Education and Professional Studies are non-credit. Non-credit programming provides working professionals the opportunity to learn valuable skills that can help them advance their career opportunities.
Our non-credit Professional Certificate Program for International Students is a training/education program; it is not a government-initiated immigration program.

Our Calgary-based Continuing Education International Advising team includes specialists with specific training, experience and certifications. We are here to support you for a productive and enjoyable learning experience at SAIT.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut'ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh'kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
