Come study in Calgary, Alberta and build in-demand skills from industry-certified instructors with our Professional Certificate – Supply Chain Management program—one of our new, in-person, classroom-based Non-Credit Professional Certificate Programs for International Students.
Successful global businesses across diverse industries rely on efficient operations and supply chain management. Professionals in Supply Chain Management utilize their technical expertise to establish reliable and effective supply operations that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. This program delivers valuable technical and practical knowledge in partnership with Supply Chain Canada and GoLean Six Sigma on essential components of the supply chain process and the tools & techniques used by supply chain management practitioners for success. You’ll learn about operations, procurement, logistics, performance analytics and how to establish, maintain and enhance an efficient supply chain process.
This program is ideal for individuals who are new to the industry or seeking a career in Supply Chain Management. No prior formal training or experience is necessary.
This program will prepare you for career opportunities in these occupations: Production Logistics Coordinator, Purchasing Manager, Project Coordinator, Supply Chain Supervisor. Supply chain management and related jobs are found in various industries including Manufacturing, Transportation and Oil and Gas.
Upon successful completion of this program, you’ll receive:
- SAIT Professional Certificate – Supply Chain Management credential
- SAIT micro-credential (SAITMicro) digital badge for each eligible course in the program
- Supply Chain Training (SMT) Diploma credential issued by Supply Chain Canada
You'll also be prepared to challenge the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification exam. Some courses included in the program may be eligible for training credits or professional development units toward industry certifications. Additional education, exams or work experience requirements may apply.

This program is Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) eligible with a CIP: 52.0203. Take this program as a one year of study or bundle with another program like IT Project Management or Data Science. This one-year program is delivered over two consecutive semesters. We offer three intakes (Fall, Winter and Spring starts) of this program every year. Courses are scheduled in three different time blocks: 8 am to noon or 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm or 5 pm to 9 pm. A Survey will be sent to students that have confirmed their Study Visa is in place, to ask your time preference. Requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: We will make every effort to schedule you in your requested time slot, however, based on capacity and a number of other factors, we are not able to guarantee that your requested time slot will be granted. *For students taking two Professional Certificate programs, the tuition deadline for the first semester of your second program will be three weeks before the Semester 1 start date. Students adding a second program must pay a deposit $3,500 in order to secure their seat in the program.

- You may transfer your tuition deposit one time to any future intake open at the time you make your request. If you want to transfer your tuition again, you must submit a new application and pay an additional non-refundable deposit.
