In this certificate, you'll discover sound theory and learn how to work effectively with digital audio hardware and software.

• You’ll learn how to properly set up a recording session, including microphones, equipment and recording software.   

• Learn the process of recording, editing, mixing and mastering different projects using a variety of digital signal processing techniques.  

• Learn how to use both analog and digital mixing consoles in a live sound environment. 

• Explore sound design and synthesis for the creation of soundtracks for games and videos. 

Students must take six courses in total to earn the certificate in Digital Audio. Looking for more? Consider taking the Event Technician certificate, which further trains you to work as a technician in live event settings such as theatres, music venues, festivals, live hybrid events and more.
