Fifth Class prepares students to take the Provincial Fifth Class Power Engineering exam or the equivalent low-pressure heating plant certificate provincial exam.
Provinces may recommend this course as study material for heating plant certificate examinations other than Fifth Class. In Alberta, this course credits six-months work experience towards the required 12 months. If you are outside of Alberta, please contact your local boiler branch for more information regarding government certification. The price for this course does not include the cost of textbooks.
Please note: Students are unable to transfer between Classroom and Online offerings of the theory course. To switch between Classroom and Online offerings, students must withdraw from their current course and register in their desired course.
