Ready to turn digital opportunities into measurable business success?

This 30-hour micro-credential course is part of our new Digital Marketing Fundamentals certificate program. It introduces you to essential digital marketing concepts and hands-on strategies for creating impactful campaigns that deliver results. You’ll explore the marketing funnel, key metrics and content creation, enabling you to craft a comprehensive approach to your digital marketing efforts. You'll also learn to build a website, optimize it for search engine performance and explore its role in both paid and organic integrated media campaigns.

Led by an industry-trained instructor, this course combines engaging virtual group lectures with collaborative learning experiences. Through your online learning portal, you'll access up-to-date guided course content, practical blog articles and videos that showcase the latest practices in digital marketing. You’ll gain hands-on experience in class and through assignments using digital tools like SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4 and the Wix website builder.

Whether you're new to digital marketing or looking to enhance your expertise, this course equips you with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive business growth. By completion, you’ll have a confident understanding of key marketing concepts, be able to measure success and optimize strategies for maximum impact.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • analyze how digital marketing fits into an overall corporate strategy
  • demonstrate the digital marketing approach using funnel analysis
  • develop reporting for marketing metrics
  • develop the customer journey considering Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) models
  • analyze Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content requirements to build a brand using digital marketing
  • build a professional website using a website builder
  • analyze SEO tactics for a website
  • design an integrated digital marketing campaign.

You’ll demonstrate your skill and knowledge acquisition through three individual assignments and one group project. All coursework must be completed as per the course schedule and no later than the course end date.

This course qualifies for the SAITMicro badge. Students who successfully complete this course with a final grade of A- (80%) or higher will earn a micro-credential and receive a shareable digital badge. Learn more.

Complete all courses required for the Digital Marketing Fundamentals Certificate of Completion to receive your SAIT certificate credential.
