Course Description

Want to make your company's brand stand out in the digital world? This 30-hour micro-credential course, part of our new Digital Marketing Fundamentals certificate program, provides a comprehensive introduction to marketing and branding strategies tailored for entrepreneurial-minded learners. Designed to blend theoretical insights with hands-on practice, the course empowers you to build, market and refine your business ideas.

Join in a dynamic virtual learning space with your peers and explore how to leverage modern marketing tools, conduct brand assessments and craft stories that captivate audiences. Your industry-trained instructor will guide you through key topics and provide feedback on the interactive assignments and practical exercises. You'll have access to the latest content and resources from your online learning portal, supporting a flexible and engaging learning experience.

By completion, you’ll have the confidence and the tools to manage brands effectively, craft compelling blog content and create an interactive pitch deck that makes a lasting impression.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • describe the fundamental elements of entrepreneurship marketing
  • design a minimum viable product for entrepreneurial ventures
  • analyze the key components for an engaging blog
  • create a blog for marketing purposes
  • explain the fundamental concepts and theories of branding
  • conduct a mini brand audit
  • describe the fundamental steps in storytelling
  • create an interactive pitch deck for new business ideas.

You’ll demonstrate your skill and knowledge acquisition through three individual assignments and one group presentation. All coursework must be completed as per the course schedule and no later than the course end date.

SAIT micro-credential badge

This course qualifies for the SAITMicro badge. Students who successfully complete this course with a final grade of A- (80%) or higher will earn a micro-credential and receive a shareable digital badge. Learn more.

You’ll also be able to self-print a proof of completion document from your Continuing Education student account. Complete all courses required for the Digital Marketing Fundamentals Certificate of Completion to receive your SAIT certificate credential.
