LDSH 042 - Leading Mindset
Course Description
It's been said that leadership isn't about being in charge, it's about taking care of those in your charge.
This two-day, in-person course builds on what you learned in LDSH 041 - Leading Self advancing your leadership development journey by refining the skills needed to lead with empathy, collaboration and purpose in today's dynamic workplace. Part of our new Emerging Leaders Certificate of Completion, this course is a valuable addition to your leadership toolkit.
Led by an expert instructor at our conveniently located SAIT Calgary campus, this course will drill deeper into how your unique personality traits shape your leadership mentality and inform your personal growth strategies. Through dynamic discussions, hands-on activities and peer collaboration, you’ll learn how to harness your empathy and collaboration skills to build an inclusive and robust workplace network essential for achieving your leadership goals. By examining biases, expanding perspectives and acquiring networking skills, you'll discover how to cultivate a diverse network that fosters collaboration across various workplace settings. In addition to classroom activities, you'll access supplementary content through your online portal to enhance your learning experience.
By the end of this course, you’ll emerge equipped with tools and insights to navigate the complexities of leadership with purpose and resilience.
