Course Description

Transform your understanding of leadership with our 14-hour Leaders as Coaches course. 

Across six units, you'll learn about coaching and leaders' various roles. You'll also cover self-discovery, aligning values with impactful actions and how to incorporate coaching into daily activities.

From laying the groundwork to cultivating trust and adopting powerful coaching models, you'll master the art of integrating coaching into your leadership style. Throughout this course, you'll engage in live coaching experiences and receive feedback to grow as a leader-coach.
 

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: 

  • explain what coaching is and the various roles leaders play
  • describe the impact coaching can have and the growing challenges for leaders today
  • correlate alignment between your values (self) and your actions/behaviors to strengthen your leadership impact and authenticity
  • evaluate your current effectiveness
  • describe how to create an environment of trust and accountability for coaching to occur
  • summarize coaching models and how coaching can be incorporated into day to day activities
  • engage in real-world coaching experiences and receive feedback
  • develop a plan for continued development of leader-as-coach skills.
