Course Description

A well-conducted meeting provides a focused, collaborative space for new ideas and strategies to support organizational goals and operational effectiveness. However, many meetings turn out to be a drain on employee time and energy. From poor planning and delegation, to a lack of positivity or ineffective follow-up — there are many ways for meetings to fail. 

The good news — you can learn how to make meetings productive, engaging and even enjoyable. This course provides you with the tools you need to prepare, deliver, and follow-up for immediate and impactful results.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to do the following: 

  • Before the Meeting: Prepare by identifying communication channels, creating an effective agenda, and determining what meeting styles best support meeting objectives and logistics.
  • During the Meeting: Demonstrate effective public speaking and presentation skills, respond to questions with confidence and delegate tasks to members.
  • After the Meeting: Prioritize objectives for actionable follow-up, and evaluate success based upon results.
