Course Description

This course introduces the principles of net zero and zero carbon practices, and their necessary performance metrics. We will explore the current regulatory bodies administering these classifications and prevailing methods to achieve these high-performance targets.

  • Explain typical and readily available mechanical systems in net zero and zero carbon homes

Participants will complete 8 hours of online, independent study supplemented with 4 hours of live virtual learning sessions with the instructor and other students.

These virtual sessions will be delivered virtually using Zoom & Brightspace/D2L and are very interactive. Zoom sessions will be held on Thursdays between June 6 and July 3 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

We encourage you to use your webcam and microphone to contribute to a more collaborative learning experience.
