Course Description

This course introduces you to heat exchangers — an important type of auxiliary equipment in process facilities. You'll learn about the principles of heat transfer and the factors that affect heat transfer. You'll also explore and describe most types of typical and specialized heat exchangers while discussing the operation, maintenance and problems that can be encountered with heat exchangers. Safety precautions when working with high-temperature equipment will also be covered.
