In this course, you'll learn how to describe the selection and operation of various types of positive displacement compressors while exploring the need for gas compression. The components and materials of construction are described for different types of positive displacement machines. Descriptions of auxiliary equipment such as separators and heat exchangers explain the improved operational efficiency from the use of this equipment.
