Course Description

Enroll in this 18-hour online asynchronous course to learn about the processes involved in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plants. In this course, you'll explore various concepts, including shallow-cut and deep-cut gas processing, the basic processes used in LNG plants, LNG storage and shipping and LNG safety. You’ll have access to an experienced instructor who will assist you via email while you work through the theory and knowledge-based self-assessment components, including quizzes and a proctored final exam.

This course is a part of our LNG micro-credential series and provides a micro-credential to those seeking knowledge about LNG operations. It is a beneficial course for individuals who are preparing to enter the LNG industry. Additionally, it serves as a valuable complement to our Gas Process Operations certificate. This course is made possible with funding from the Government of Alberta.
