Gain the Customer Success Manager (CSM) skills in our 160-hour virtual Applied Customer Success Management bootcamp to tackle real-world challenges and make strategic decisions that drive success for your current or future employer.
Customer Success (CS) managers and professionals play a vital role in driving business strategy and a customer-centric mindset. They advocate for customers’ business goals, manage customer accounts, design and operationalize customer experiences and interpret customer data. Their skills are sought-after by various industries, particularly in technology hubs.
Designed for early to mid-career professionals, this course builds on your unique life and work experience. On this transformative learning journey, you’ll receive a balanced blend of industry-informed theoretical knowledge and real-world application. You'll immerse yourself through instructor-led virtual classes and hands-on assignments in the complexities of customer relationship management, understanding the customer journey and strategically influencing customer outcomes.
Our experienced CSM leaders and instructors will share their passion and drive for success, helping you gain valuable industry perspectives and mentorship. As your final capstone project, you'll apply industry best practices, strategies, tools and technologies you’ve learned to a local case study or solving a current customer problem from your organization.

Learner Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll be able to:
- identify business goals and support customers toward the best outcomes for their business goals
- build essential customer success collateral like renewal and quarterly business review (QBR) decks, success plans and health scores for a personal customer-success portfolio
- provide a seamless customer experience from onboarding to renewal and beyond that increases customer retention and decreases churn
- build rapport with customers through engaging and informative presentations that deliver value
- measure and analyze customer data to enhance the customer experience and advocate for the customer's needs.
This is an immersive course. Be prepared to dedicate a minimum of four to five hours per week of study outside of class time.

PMGT-014 Applied Customer Success Management is a perfect fit for early to mid-career professionals looking to enter a Customer Success role. Any industry-related experience you already have will be beneficial including business, customer service or technology sales/support experience.
As a bootcamp graduate, you’ll be well-positioned for dynamic tech-adjacent career opportunities within technology companies, from start-ups to enterprise-level organizations.
The median salary for Customer Success Managers and Client Success Managers is $75,000 in Canada.
You must be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time you start this course.
You should have an interest in learning and applying new technologies to advocate for and solve customer problems.
Your English language proficiency should be of an equivalent level to English 20-1 or 20-2 as outlined in SAIT’s English proficiency guidelines. No formal assessment test is required.

Course completion: This non-credit course runs over 12 consecutive weeks. Upon its successful completion, you’ll receive an electronic copy of your official transcript. You’ll also be able to self-print a proof of completion document from your Con Ed student account. As mentioned above, there is also the opportunity to earn a SAITMicro digital badge if you have met the earning criteria.
