The Professional Respiratory Educator program prepares students to challenge the Canadian Network for Respiratory Care (CNRC) Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) exam.

Prevalence, pathophysiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and tobacco use disorder will be covered. There will be an emphasis placed on techniques and strategies for educating clients experiencing these three common conditions.
