Course Description

This course focuses on understanding, incorporating and working successfully with diversity in the Canadian workplace. Learn the strategic importance of creating a better working environment in your business by recognizing issues related to diverse groups.

Discussions will include the meaning of culture, how it influences your personal beliefs and values, and identification of the many varied groups that make up our modern understanding of diversity.

We'll cover topics such as stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination and harassment while offering solutions to these and other workplace diversity issues.
