Course Description

In this course, you will look at the way data is set up in an organization and how to leverage that data through the lens of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions. You will also look at defining the roles of data for effective decision-making in the modern workplace, as well as how to break down a data fluency framework. Finally, you will learn to effectively identify where data can add value to an organization.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completing this course, you will know how to:

  • Examine how organizations use data to make decisions or improve operations
  • Conduct a high-level gap analysis for data skills to identify key roles for hire 
  • Build KPIs for an organization to make decisions.

Schedule:
This course will be delivered virtually using MS Teams & Brightspace/D2L. MS Teams sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting January 7 and ending February 6, 2025, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
